Part of the new Stockholm Jewellery Collection, this necklace is a work of contemporary art. It is light, versatile and durable. It’ll go with just about every outfit you have and yet stands out as a unique statement piece.
I hand-cut and shape the piece from a slab of clay, carefully smoothing out any imperfections. Then, I then embed a tiny wire loop into the wet clay which later serves as a sturdy anchor for earring hooks when worn out and about. Following it’s first kiln firing I hand paint layers of glaze and colour on all sides of the piece before placing it back in the kiln.
